Publishing Workshop
On Thursday, April 24 at 6:00pm, local-area authors Carol Karels and Barry Sheinkopf will discuss their experiences in books publishing.

Mom’s Writer’s Workshop
On Saturday, April 26 at 11 am, join us for a writing workshop specifically for moms wishing capture the experiences you share with your kids. 

Beer Brewing & Tasting Event
On Saturday, April 26 at 2:00pm, Hoboken’s 902 Brewing will demonstrate beer brewing and provide samples of their brew! You must be 21 or older with a valid government ID to attend. Please RSVP as space is limited.

Open Tech Time
If you are a computer newbie or would like to try some of our edevices drop by for help on Tuesday, April 29 from 6pm – 7:30pm for an open tech hour. This program is currently full; there will be another open tech time next month on May 20 at 6:00 PM.

This seminar on Thursday, May 8 at 6:00 pm, will cover the pros and cons of a home business, what you need to know on how to get started and what your business plan should address.

Art Reception
Gina Petrecca will have a reception for her May gallery show at 6 PM on May 8.

Poetry Reading
Join us on May 15 at 6 pm for a special poetry reading inspired by Mother’s Day.  Poets Aimee Harris and Ona Gritz will read from their work, especially poems about motherhood. 

Park Bench Open Mic
Musicians, poets and other performance artists, join us on Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 pm, for our first Open Mic of the season in the Church Square Park Gazebo across from the library. This month’s special musical guest will be the band North & West.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Book Discussion

Healthy Eating for Kids with Dr. Dina Rose

On  Thursday, May 22 at 6:00pm, Dr. Dina Rose will discuss nutrition as described in her book : It's Not about the Broccoli: Three Habits to Teach your Kids for a Lifetime of Healthy Eating

Introduction to Hiking Safety
On Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00pm, Wilderness Survival Instructor Amy Manning will be at the library to talk about hiking safety as well as the basics of wilderness survival including potential hazards , how to make/find shelter, finding food, and how to purify water.

Alan Skontra’s Legendary Locals of Hoboken
Join us on Thursday, May 29 at 6:00 pm, to learn more about some of Hoboken’s most famous and inspiring residents.    Alan Skontra book Legendary Locals of Hoboken was published in March. 

Mom’s Writing Workshop
On Saturday, May 31 at 11 am, join us for a writing workshop for moms wishing to get their parenting experiences on the page.

On Mondays at 4 PM, teens entering grades 6-12 can take part in a Digital Photography Workshop taught by Wendy Setzer. Please RSVP.

Dungeons and Dragons
On Tuesdays at 4 PM, teens can participate in fun and creative roleplaying games.

Teen Game Time
Fridays at 3:00-Play Station 2, XBOX 360, and Wii sports and music game time -For patrons, grades 6-12.
