ESL Classes

Weekly English as a Second Language Conversation classes will take place Wednesday evenings at the Library at 6:30 PM till April 26 (no class on April 12).  These classes are intended for advanced-beginner and intermediate level English speakers to practice, learn, and have fun!

Hoboken Public Library Resident Card Holders have access from home with their library cards.

Wellness Wednesdays: Pain, Pain Go Away with Dr. Anthony Orlando
Join us Wednesday April 26 at 6:30 PM where Dr. Anthony Orlando, Physical Therapist will present Pain, Pain Go Away: Manage and Eliminate Neck and Lower Back Pain.

Beginner Knitting Class
On Tuesday, May 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 9:30-11:30 AM make a lacy cowl in our beginning knitting classes. You must attend all four classes. First to come will get a spot.

Morning Art Class
On Wednesday, May 3, 10, 17, and 24 at 10 AM will be a series of landscape classes during the month of May. First to come will get a spot.

Energy Savings Workshop at the Library
On Thursday May 4 at 7 PM learn about the Hoboken Solar Challenge, and then speak to vendors about renewable energy, energy conservation, and clean power products and services.

Maker Space -
Open Creation Space Time
Every Monday join us between 1PM and 7 PM for open maker space time. No appointment required! Those under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Crochet Class
Beginning on Tuesday April 4 at 9:30 AM there will be a 4 part Crochet Class.  No advance registration, but first to come will get a spot.

April Art History and Appreciation
On Wednesdays April 5, 12, 19, 26 10:00 AM join Liz Cohen for a series of art classes that will teach art history and appreciation through creation of art. First come gets a spot.

Adult Coloring
On Thursday April 27 at 7 PM unwind with spa water and coloring for adults.
