The Climate Mobilization Monthly Pizza Meeting
The local chapter of The Climate Mobilization will meet on Thursday June 1 at 7 PM. Enjoy pizza and help strategize on to improve the city and the planet.

The Taming of the Shrew
Thursday June 8 at 6:30 PM, the Hudson Shakespeare Company returns to the Hoboken Public Library and takes the Bard’s story of the “war of the sexes” and updates the action to 1960s Italy.

Marian and Friends- Ventriloquist
On Saturday June 3 at 3 PM, laugh along with exciting songs and discover a world of puppets! For children ages 3+ and their caregivers. Eventbrite ticket reserved the day prior required.

HPL Library Fair
The Hoboken Library Fair on June 10 will include programs for all ages, and special guest New York Times bestselling author Rosemary Wells.  Children can go on a trip through her artists’ studio at 11:30 AM!   RSVP on Eventbrite. Kids can also explore the arts and crafts tent, the bouncy house, and have their faces painted during the day!

Field Station Dinosaur
On Monday June 19 at 3 PM, a dinosaur will be in Hoboken! Come to Church Square Park for a special story and songs!  This is a family program for children ages 5+ and their caregivers.


Maker Space -
Open Creation Space Time
Every Monday join us between 1PM and 7 PM for open maker space time. No appointment required! Those under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Starting Tuesday May 2 at 9:30 AM, please join us for a four session beginning knitting class.

Morning Art with Liz
Wednesdays May 3, 10, 17, and 24 at 10 AM, join us for a landscape art class. 

Zentangle Art
Join Certified Zentangle Teacher, Shilpi Gupta, for an introductory art workshop on Monday June 5 at 6 PM. 

Cell Phone Photography and Drawing
On Wednesdays June 7, 14, 21, and 29 at 10 AM on join Liz Cohen for a fun and exciting way to appreciate nature and learn about digital photography and drawing. Meet at the Library on the 2nd floor.  Bring your cell phone and get there early to ensure a spot.

Technology Tent at the HPL Fair
On Saturday June 10 as part of the Hoboken Library Fair the Library's various technology tools, such as the 3D printers, the Oculus, the button maker, and more. Staff will be on hand to demonstrate how to download eBooks and digital magazines, and stream videos.
