Story Time Reminders
Story Time is a time for you to learn with your child.  We ask you to turn off all cell phones and texting devices during library programs.  Also, there is no food.   Please feed your child before or after story time.  If your child gets restless during story time, please take them out of the program so other children can enjoy the stories, undisturbed.  Many thanks for your cooperation.

For Our Educational Partners
The Library offers many services to Hoboken K-12 schools, pre-schools and daycare centers. We can supplement your classroom instruction and host special programs to engage your students at the library. You can schedule a class visit to the library for:
-Library tours
-Story times
-Research help
-Presentations on useful databases and homework help resources
-And special programs that supplement your classroom instruction

If you can’t leave the classroom, we are more than willing to come to you for presentations on special topics or to show you and your students how to use specific library resources. We are also available for book talks and special story times.

DAYCARE VISITS: We schedule story times for daycare centers on Friday mornings at 10:30 AM. Call 201-420-2348 for date availability. Because of space limitations, we can accommodate no more than 20 children at a time.

PRE-K-12 SCHOOL VISITS: Teachers and students in Hoboken are entitled to a free library card as individuals who work and go to school here, and it would be our pleasure to arrange this for you so that your students can borrow materials at the time of your class visit.  If you wish to sign children up for library cards, please let us know at least two weeks in advance of your scheduled visit.

If you schedule a visit and cannot make it because of weather or scheduling conflicts, please call to let us know and we will reschedule your date. Our staff works hard to prepare programs for your needs so we appreciate your courtesy.
