PART-TIME ACCOUNT CLERK

The Hoboken Public Library seeks a Part-time Account Clerk to work in the administrative offices.  Duties include processing accounts payable invoices, tracking deposits, assisting with bank reconciliations and communication with vendors.  Candidate should be detail oriented, accurate and have the ability to perform analysis of accounts payable and vendor information at the direction of the Library Director.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.  Requirements:  High School diploma minimum, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Intuit QuickBooks software.  Preference will be given to Hoboken residents.   Preference will also be given to candidates with accounting education or experience. LIBRARY BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER. PART TIME, 25 HRS.

The Hoboken Public Library seeks a part time Library Building Maintenance worker to perform varied simple and moderately physically strenuous tasks involved in cleaning and maintaining building and grounds, making minor repairs and doing other related duties as required.

Successful Candidate should possess a High School diploma, knowledge of procedures, materials and tools used in washing, waxing, handling cleaning problems, ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects.  Basic reading, writing, and communication skills required. Bilingual a plus. The work schedule is flexible, Monday through Sunday, includes evening hours. $14.50 per hour, 25 hrs per week. Vacation and Sick Time. This is a Civil Service Position.
