Hoopla.
Hoboken Public Library resident card holders, along with other members of BCCLS libraries, have access to Hoopla, which provides online access to 15,808 videos (including movies and TV shows), 14,313 audiobooks, 212,595 music albums. Each month you have an access to up to 4 different choices. You can borrow music for 7 days, videos for 2 or 3 days, and audiobooks for 21 days. Plus access to books including graphic novels/comics!
Due to budgetary constraints, BCCLS has reduced Hoopla checkouts to four per patron for the month of September 2017. Moreover, effective October 1, Hoopla service will no longer be offered at the cooperative level. The product has exceeded BCCLS anticipated usage. Anything you currently check out on Hoopla during September will remain checked out to you until the item's normal expiration date -- even if that date is beyond October 1. The Hoboken Public Library is currently exploring continuing Hoopla service on its own.
