Make a Donation to the Hoboken Public Library Online
The Hoboken Public Library is now accepting donations through PayPal, which is a safe and secure way to donate. The PayPal web site accepts credit card and bank transfer payments. You don’t need to set up a PayPal account to donate via PayPal. Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover are accepted.
If you have a PayPal account you also can log in and select “Send Money.” When prompted, specify email@example.com as the recipient, and you will be presented with Hoboken Public Library’s information. Send the payment as you would for any other payment. Funds go directly to Hoboken Public Library via PayPal.
PayPal accepts non-US accounts and funds. We will send a “thank-you” email when your donation is received.
If you would like your donation to go to a certain area of our library (library building improvements, children’s books, reference, library programs, history collection, etc), before you click “Donate Now,” click on the link to “Add special instructions” and note your preferences there.
Make a Donation via Check
To avoid processing fees, you may mail your donation to us via check or money order. Please make checks payable to “Hoboken Public Library Foundation” and mail to:
Hoboken Public Library Foundation

For your security, cash donations are only accepted in person at the library.
The Hoboken Public Library Board of Trustees and the Library Director and staff thank our residents for their generous donations. We extend our gratitude to our residents and library users. Whether you are reading a book or downloading an e-book, seeking help with research, attending our cultural events or educational workshops, encouraging your little child or teenager to read and excel in their studies by using the library, the generous donations from our residents and library users help the library to fulfill its mission of providing an excellent service and materials to our community.
